Description

M115A2 Simulator, Projectile, Ground Burst. This device is listed under Drawing 7549246, NSN 1370-00-752-8126 and DODIC/NALC L594; provides battle noises and other effects during troop maneuvers. It produces a high-pitch whistle and flash of light fo llowed by a loud report. The body of this device consists of a closed paper cylinder, 7.13 inches long by 2.25 inches in diameter, photoflash powder and an M3A1 Fuze lighter. M116A1 Simulator, Hand Grenade. This devise is listed under Drawing 8835109, Specification MIL-S-10057, NSN 1370-00-752-8124 and DODIC/NALC L601. It is used to provide battle noises and other effects during troop maneuvers. It produces a flash of light fol lowed by a loud report. The body of this simulator consists of a closed paper cylinder 3.75 inches long (4.27 with safety time fuze) by 1.6 inches in diameter, photoflash powder and an M3A1 Fuze Lighter.
