- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This is a sources sought synopsis as a part of market research in order to seek out interested companies that would be willing to provide a technical proposal for the acquisition of the complete Surgical Mini C-arm Imaging System for the USAFA Athletic Department through the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic [10 MDG/SGOSO USAFA CO]. This sources sought synopsis is open for 10 days and will close on 14 March 2005. A complete description of the customer?s requirement is provided below: ENCORE-CE - PREMIER ENCORE - TOUCH SCREEN Complete Surgical Mini C-arm Imaging System including: Dual mode, 4 inch and 6 inch Cesium Iodide Intensifier Power Range: 40-75 KVp, and 20-100 micro Amps Administrative Audit Function: Run Meters, 50 separate passwords, system activity 45 micron focal spot Laser pointer included Center mounted, multi-articulated, locking Iso-C arm CD-R/W storage 3.5 inch Floppy Disk Drive Dual, high intensity monitors 4 image buffer and right screen 4-image mosaic AOI (Area of Interest) function Automatic Dose Rate Noise suppression and edge enhancement Auto-calibration 2,000 image storage system Alphanumeric keyboard Triple function foot switch Full assembly and one day on-site, in-service training Height: 60 inches Width: 36 inches Depth: 32 inches Weight: 500 pounds 12 month (1 year) Warranty including all parts and labor PREM-PRT-6X8-TP - PRINTER, 6X8, THERMAL FLOUROSCAN SERVICE PLAN WHICH COVERS ALL COMPONENTS INCLUDING S/W, IMAGE INTENSIFIER, AND X-RAY TUBE/HVPS ASSEMBLY. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, ETC. This is only an attempt to seek out sources, this is NOT a request for quote. Please provide your technical proposal to me in a timely fashion so that I can forward it to the customer for their technical evaluation. All technical proposals will be evaluated by 10 MDG/SGOSO to determine ?technical acceptability?. If your company?s product is determined ?technically acceptable?, I will contact you accordingly. If your product is not deemed ?technically acceptable?, the customer will provide a technical evaluation explaining the reasons why it did not comply with their requirement and any weaknesses will be noted. I will forward this to you upon receipt. After the closing of the sources sought synopsis period and a reasonable time for the customer to evaluate any technical proposals submitted, a combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued for a period of not less than 15 days, at that time, your company may submit a complete proposal to include all costs associated with the above detailed product.
