Description: The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), Stennis Space Center, MS has a requirement for 2-1/4 inch 8-strand, plaited polypropylene rope. The rope must meet NDBC Specification 8080 Rev C, dated 06/13/01. The quantity is 24,000 ft. The rope shall be delivered FOB-Destination to Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. All documentation and certifications shall be delivered to and approved by NDBC prior to shipment of rope. This solicitation is set aside for small business, see Note 1. FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies and FAR 52.225-2, Buy American Act Certificate; apply to this acquisition. See attachments on this announcement for the RFQ and specification.
