- NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award on a sole source basis a Fixed Price contract for the repair of Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment and peripheral items to the OEM, Raytheon Company, CAGE: 37695, 1010 Production Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46808. The following are the Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment and peripheral items: Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 286 each over a 5 year period, R-T Radio, NSN: 5821-01-500-4770CA, P/N: 902219-804 Size: 5.39" H x 5.88" W x 11.43" D; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 204 each over a 5 year period, Fill Panel, NSN: 5895-01-503-3800CS, P/N: 726073-806, Size: 1.48" H x 5.74" W x 3.28" D; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 204 each over a 5 year period, Control Indicator, NSN: 5821-01-503-3799CS, P/N: 726295-801, Size: 3.36" H x 5.75" W x 5.79"D; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 30 each over a 5 year period, High Power Amplifier, NSN: 5996-01-503-8589CS, P/N: 622274-1, Size: 4.70" H x 5.99" W x 13.90" D; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 55 each over a 5 year period, Pre-Amplifier, NSN: 5996-01-503-8094CS, P/N: 902458-801, Size: 5.69" W x 10.15" D x 2.85" H; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 55 each over a 5 year period, RT Mount, NSN: 5975-01-504-7746CS, P/N: 902220-801, Size: N/A; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 55 each over a 5 year period, High Power Amplifier Mounting Tray, NSN: 5975-01-504-7745CS, P/N: 902456-801, Size: N/A; Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) 1 each annually, Pre-Amplifier, NSN: 5996-01-506-9366CS, P/N: 902049-801, 5.69" W x 10.9" D x 2.85" H; Required Delivery: 30 days after receipt of assets and order. The RT 1808 Radio Transmitter provides RF and Digital Circuitry to perform radio functions, embedded COMSEC, modulation and demodulation of all Line Of Sight (LOS), Maritime, Have Quick, Sincgars, Dama, and SatCom communications modes. Also, the RT Radio has a high data rate capability, extended LOS frequency range, and embedded advanced data controller. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by April 2005. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Notes 22 applies.
