Description

M10 Charger Gun, NSN 1005-00-348-8653, P/N 72667982, is an assembly of various machined and cast parts. Knowledge of aluminum die casting, steel investment casting, machining and assembly are required in the manufacture of this item. Used on the .5 0 Cal Machine Gun. Solicitation is a Full and Open Best Value and result in the award of a long term, firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Award will be based on an evaluation of performance risk, small business participation and price. Guaranteed minimum quantity is 1,200 each. First Article and Phosphate Coating are required. Estimated issue date is on or about 18 March 2005. This date is just an estimate. This solicitation will be issued electroni cally in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOL INFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals ma y render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet, along with the soliciation.
