Description

The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Thomson Financial Media American Banker Division for 39 American Banker Print and On-line subscriptions for a one year period beginning 7 Mar 05. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirement received within three days (by 2:00PM EST) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. Such information, if submitted, should be forwarded to faxed to OTS, Attn: Isabel Roman-Cogswell (202) 906-5648. If this procurement is competed, no additional synopsis will be published and a request for quotation will only be forwarded to the intended vendor and firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
