Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency  Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with the University of Arizona (U of A), 888 N. Euclid Avenue, P.O. Box 3308, Tucson, AZ 85722-3308. This contract will be for the procurement of Telemedicine and technical support for the US Army Yuma Proving Ground Tropic Test Center to assure the health and well being of its personnel and other tech nical interest. Tasks under this contract include: technical advice, planning, training and equipment/materiel management to support Army telemedicine technology initiatives. U of A is the only non-Panamanian entity that has been accepted by the Panamanian Government to provide these services. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requ irements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 04 March 2005, 12:00 PM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation #W9124R-05-R-0011 and emailed to Edgar.Angulo@yuma.army.mil or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
