Description

DESCRIPTION: All work is to be done in accordance with drawings and specifications. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to the following principle items: Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies, and coordination required for the repair/replacement of the fire alarm system and fire sprinkler system for building 137 on Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. It is our intention to award a firm fixed price contract by Invitation of Bid (IFB). The estimated date of release of solicitation for IFB will be on or about March 15, 2005 with an estimated response date of April 14, 2005. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance will be no later than 185 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, $12M annual receipts. The Official Copy of the solicitation will not be provided on compact disk (CD-ROM) or paper and can only be accessed on the website http://fedbizopps.gov. The website will contain the drawings and specifications for review. All prospective bidders are encouraged to register for each individual solicitation to be added to the electronic source list. The Government is not responsible for notifying potential offerors of changes to the solicitation. All changes, modifications and other pertinent information will be posted on the website stated above for viewing.
