- USPS SOUTHERN MAINE P & DC (Scarborough Site) Solicitation #512582-05-A-0001 AMENDMENT #1: Clarifications, Additions and Deletions: 1. A preproposal meeting for selected offerors will be held on December 2, 2004 at 9:00 AM in the Renaissance Banquet Room at the Doubletree Hotel, 1230 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04102 Tel: (207) 774-5611. Site visit to follow the meeting. 2. There are five main areas of revision under this amendment: A. Addition of the Food Service component. B. Update to the documents and FDS based on approved deviations - terrazzo floor at the entrance vestibule and lobby and solid surface counter-tops have been included as Add Alternates in the price proposal. The base price is to be based on provisions set forth in the SDC. C. Inclusion of the Digital Video Recording (DVR) system for CCTV Surveillance as an Add Alternate in lieu of requirements set forth under Specification Sections 13704 and 13705. D. Revision to the main incoming electrical service to include 100% service redundancy. E. Updated survey based on some on-going earthwork activities. 3. There are several small changes or clarifications included in the documents. All changes have been noted on the drawings. Specification sections included in the amendment replace the sections issued with the Solicitation Documents with the exception of 13705 (Add Alternate #1). Changes to the FDS are highlighted in the document. 4. Replace the Functional Design Specification included in the Solicitation Documents with the attached documents. Southern Maine-FDS-11-19-04 All changes in the FDS have been highlighted.
