Description

DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to: General Atomics Electronics Systems, Inc., 4949 Greencraig Lane, San Diego CA 92123. This acquisition is Unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334414. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001, Sixteen (16) each, Model Number 150004-1 (2mF, 4kJ, 16-capacitor bank); and CLIN 0002, One (1) Lot, for shipping and handling. This requirement is part of the advanced concepts thruster program being built in support of its XOCOT Hall Thruster Development Program. General Atomics Electronics Systems is the manufacturer of this product. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334414. The size standard is 500. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
