Description

The Library of Congress intends to negotiate noncompetitively with Telex Communication, Inc. The requirement is to procure on a firm, fixed price basis, spare parts for audio playback machines. These spare parts are custom designed for the National Library Services Blind & Physically Handicapped (NLS/BPH) by Telex Communications, Inc. These items are compatible friction levers, flywheels, and other spare parts that have been custom-designed to be used with the Library's audio playback machines. The NLS/BPH requires that all parts used with custom-designed playback machines conform to NLS/BPH specifications. Nonconforming parts are unoperable within NLS/BPH machines. This is a non-competitive requirement. No solicitation exists. No telephone calls will be accepted.
