- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation; quotes are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is M67854-05-R-4916. MCSC, Quantico, Virginia intends to purchase the following CLIN 0001: Transit Cases (with wheels and hinges) must meet the specifications and diagram as discussed below Minimum Qty of 300 with an Option to purchase up to a Maximum Qty of 3,000. The United States Marine Corps Systems Command anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The Contract will be awarded for a base period of one (1) year with three (3) additional one-year options. Cases shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination to Global Services Corporation Mark For: AIT REFRESH, Bldg 909 Michael Rd, Camp Lejeune, NC 28542. The Contractor shall submit a Delivery Schedule with their Quote with anticipation of 50 cases by March 30, 2005 and the remaining 250 to be discussed in the Delivery Schedule. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 326140 with a size standard is 500 employees. Offers should include price and delivery schedule. Contractor Questions are due by 2:00 pm (EST), February 15, 2005 and proposal submissions are due by 10:00 am (EST), February 25, 2005 to the contract specialists via e-mail to jodie.shifflett@usmc.mil with the subject headline of ?M67854-05-R-4916 AIT TRANSIT CASES". Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items the Government anticipates award of and Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to the responsive responsible low offeror. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. FAR 52.212-4 applies, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, 52.216-18 Ordering (a), (b) & (c) applies, 52.216-19 Order Limitations (a) 1, (b) 3,000, (c) n/a, (d) n/a applies, 52.216-22 applies and 4 years shall be inserted. Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, FAR and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-A7 applies.
