Description

AMENDMENT 0002 WAS ISSUED ON 10 FEB 05 TO EXTEND THE PROPOSAL CLOSING DATE/TIME DUE TO ISSUANCE OF A CLARIFICATION LETTER ANSWERING QUESTIONS TO SEVERAL OF THE PROSPECTIVE PROPOSERS. THE CLARIFICATION LETTER WITH THE AMENDMENT WAS DISTRIBUTED TO ALL THE PROSPECTIVE PROPOSERS. NEW PROPOSAL CLOSING DATE/TIME IS 17 FEB 05/1400 HOURS. Project No. ZNRE 04-4304, Construct Playgrounds, West Housing Area, Yokota Air Base, Japan. The work scope includes but not limited to: install playground equipments and benches, and construct safety mats (rubber mat flooring) and concrete slabs, etc. A site orientation is scheduled to be conducted on 27 Jan 05, from 1300 hours at 374 CONS (Bldg No. 620), Yokota Air Base. Vendors who need escorting must assemble at Supply Gate (Gate No. 5) by 1230 hours. Advance notice to the Point of Contact listed below is required in order to attend the site orientation. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERORS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
