Description

The 325 Contracting Squadron at Tyndall AFB intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation (ESCO) for BAK-15 Overhaul Kits, ESCO Part # 1421, 2 each; BAK-15 Overhaul Support Kits, ESCO Part # 1422, 1 each. This equipment is manufactured and configured specifically for the BAK-15 arresting system by the Engineered Arresting System Company (ESCO) and is not manufactured by any other known sources. The company's products comply with all material composition standards, technical dimensions, and adhere to aircraft safety requirements. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals from vendors. Public inquires about this acquisition may be directed to Mr. Louis Anderson.
