Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR part 12. Written solicitation will be issued Thursday February 10, 2005. This procurement is full and open competition. The NAICS code is 561730, and the size standard is $6,000,000. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the trimming of trees in around power lines in the Capehart Housing area of Offutt AFB, NE, IAW the Statement of Work. The period of performance will be 180 days. the work covered by the SOW will include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, appliances, and materials in performing all operations in connection with the trimming of the trees in accordance with the following provision and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work to be performed under this contract will take place in or around "High Voltage" lines feeding the Capehart Housing area, Offutt AFB, NE and should begin as soon as possible after award. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration, all contractors must be registered with the CCR to be eligible for award. A site visit is scheduled for Monday, February 14th 2005 at 10:00 AM. Contact SSgt Thomas J.
