Description
The Federal Aviation Adminstration (FAA), Eastern Region has a requirement to refurbish Low Voltage Switchgear Breakers which are located at the NY TRACON @ 1515 Stewart Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590. Please review this notice on www.asu.faa.gov. Go to FAST, Contracting Opportunities for complete information. This screening information request (SIR) is set aside for Small Business concerns. The FAA Acquisition Management System defines a small business as: a business, including its affliates, that is independently owned and operated and not dominant in producing the products or performing the services being purchased, and one that qualifies as a small business under the Federal Government's criteria and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) size standards 335313 (750 employees). Companies that qualify may request a copy of the Screening Information Request (SIR). Due to a time restraint, all fax requests must be received by 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time on February 17,2005. Requests shall be faxed to 718-995-5685, Attn: Maria Rosu. Circuit Breaker Sales has been identified as a Small Business capable of satisfying this requirement and will be provided a copy of the SIR. Additionally, four (4) copies of the SIR are available to interested companies. Requests for the soliciation will be controlled based on the time and date as it appears on the faxed request. Requests received after the limit has been reached will not receive a response from the Government, however, an announcement will be made naming the four (4) companies who have been sent the SIR. Estimated cost of the procurement is between $150,000 and $250,000. Evaluation of proposals to this SIR will rely heavily on Technical Performance, Past Performance, Time of Delivery and Financial Capability. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "Best Buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest offer.
