- Description
- The Government requires the following: A Firm, Fixed Price Supply type contract for (2) Allgire Universal Drive Units model 200-2.6, to be negotiated based on full and open competition. This was originally posted as a Sole Source with Chas S Lewisn Pumps as the original manufacturer. These drive units are required for compatibility and interchangeability to use with existing Log Broncs Tug Boats. Complete specifications will be in the solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Required Delivery Date is 13 May 05. FOB Destination. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. In accordance with FAR 5.203 (h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time. Award under this procurement will be made to the low-priced, technically acceptable offer.
