Description

The Government intends to execute an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity for engineering support services for the MH-47G Aircraft. The contract will cover the engineering services for non-recurring engineering (NRE) efforts in support of MH-47G aircraft. The proposed NRE efforts include: Digital Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) Design/Development , Digital Internal Communication System(ICS), AC/DC Aircraft Power Upgrade, Water Landing Improvements, Planned Product Improvement (PPI) for the enhanced Global Positioning System (GPS), Forward Jack Point Improvement, Publication Source Data, Software Engineering Support and General Engineering Support. The proposed acquisition is planned as a sole source acquisition with The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense and Space Group, Stewart Avenue and Route 291, Philadelphia, PA 19143-0858. The period of performance is from contract award through August 2008. The Boeing Company is the sole manufacturer of the H-47 family of aircraft. The contract is releasable to U.S. firms only. Requests from U.S. firms must be submitted in writing to the above address and must include business size. All responsible U.S. Sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The associate North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336411. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
