- Description
- Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the replacement of the fire pump, Section BE, Building 36. Work is to include the removal and replacement of the existing fire pump, including controller, booster pump, and associated piping. The fusible switch that provides electrical power to the pump shall be replaced and the feeder from the fire pump automatic transfer switch shall be replaced. The project includes testing of the new fire pump and controllers. The work shall be performed by a mechanical contractor who has 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, (NIMA), EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 120 calendar days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this project is 238220, size standard $12.0M. The work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business.
