Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure one Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscope System (NSOM) on a competitive firm fixed price. Delivery of the system is FOB destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division China Lake, CA. 90 days after award of the contract. The NSOM system will be a stand-alone system and consists of all components to operate the instrument as an integrated system. A portion of the Specifications are as follows: a) Scanner, b) Coupling Kit for NAVAIR Laser with fiber Optic, c) Optical System for probe positioning, d) PMT Detector, e) Visible Avalanche Photodiode Detector (APD), f) IR Detector ? InGaAs APD, g) Optical Fiber NSOM Probes - package of at least 10 probes, h) Data Station/System Controller, I) Stage =Course motorized or piezo sample positioning with at least 5 millimeters travel in x and y direction and positioning accuracy better than 2 micrometers. The stage should be co! ntrollable from software so that, for example, the user may relocate a desired location on the sample relative to fiducial marks. J) The System shall contain miscellaneous spare parts, Manuals, Installation/Familiarization, warranty and Maintenance. A detailed performance specification will be provided with the written solicitation posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/SearchServlet on /or about 05 February 2005. The Solicitation will close on or about 05 March 2005. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the ! written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability and availability of parts and service.
