Description

U.S. Communications - Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to procure twenty (20) 15 kW Alternators, NSN: 6115-00-363-3930, under a Competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside Firm Fixed-Price contract. The small size standard is 1,000 employees for the North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) Code of 335312. Either new or remanufactured items are acceptable to the Government. The required drawings are available upon request. The drawings contain performance and interface requirements, but do n ot contain design details that would be required to manufacture an exact replica of the alternator. The Request for Quote (RFQ), W15P7T-05-Q-B225, will be posted on the Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) on/or about February 18, 2005. Shipments a re to be FOB Destination. Delivery is a quantity of 20, 120 days after contract award. All eligible parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil . The US Army Communications and Electronics Command has established the IBOP Website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. It is the offeror's res ponsibility to monitor this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment .
