- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Rockwell Collins for the purchase of Ghost System Chassis which includes radio frequency receiver, power line antenna, switch matrix, system integration and testing. The Ghost System Chassis is developed, integrated and maintained by Rockwell Collins, Inc. Any interested offerors who can furnish the same items listed above may submit, in writing, technical data, brochures, pictures, etc., to include pricing data. Specifications relating to this procurement are not available and cannot be provided by the Government. All response must be received within 15 calendar days of the FedBizOpps notice, addressed to Commandant (G-ACS-1A/GC), Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, 2100 Second Street, SW, Washington, DC 20593-0001, Attn: Geoffrey Carroll. No telephone requests will be accepted. There is no solicitation available. The solicitation will be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be available for release to Rockwell Collins on or about March 1, 2005. All responses submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
