Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single or multiple awards to qualified sources for the provision of Psychiatry and Podiatry Services. The services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Greenville, Illinois. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible companies or individuals who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12 month option periods. A session will be defined as (1) one hour in duration. The estimated quantities for the two services above, are as follows: Psychiatry Services, Base Year - 144 sessions; Option Year 1 - 144 session; Option Year 2 - 144 sessions; Option Year 3 - 144 sessions; Option Year 4 - 144 sessions; Podiatry Services, Base Year - 48 sessions; Option Year 1 - 48 sessions; Option Year 2 - 48 sessions; Option Year 3 - 48 sessions; Option Year 4 - 48 sessions. The number of hours per week for each service shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be available on or about February 15, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 8, 2005. The solicitation is unrestricted and all sources may submit a quotation. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered.
