Description
Project consists of supplying two (2) manufactured crew quarter buildings and installing/constructing the foundation and utility connections for these buildings so both buildings are functional facilities for the Kawishiwi Ranger Station. All utility connections are the responsibility of the modular contactor. Water and sewer are in place and are within 10 feet of the building locations. Approximate existing electric and telephone line terminations will be reflected in the drawings. Telephone and power locations will need to be verified by the contractor. Buildings shall be energy efficient and be in full compliance with the Minnesota Energy Code. Construction of modular units shall be in full compliance with the International Building Code, Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards, and the Minnesota Building Code. Electrical work shall be in full compliance with the National Electrical Code. Project is located in St. Louis County, Ely Minnesota at the north end of town on the west side of state highway 169. The desired date for starting work is approximately May 15, 2005. Recommended contract time is 78 days.
