Description

The USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA proposes to contract for Berthing and messing of the CGC MAPLE crew during the period of 13 March through 3 April 2005, in Seward, AK. Contractor to provide 11 single rooms and 17 double rooms. A total of 44 meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided Monday through Sunday for the same time frame. A RFQ (request for quote) will be issued on 17 Feb 2005. This acquisition is being set-aside for Small Business under Simplified Acquisition procedures. Attn: Miority, Women Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportaiton (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Enterprises has programs to assist in acquiring short-term working capital for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT short-term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
