- The United States Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Acquisition Management will issue a solicitation to provide technical support services to EPA Region 8 (which consist of the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming), for emergency response, removal, site assessment, brownfields, facility inspections, training, data management, and related technical and administrative services as defined in the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA or Superfund) as amended, the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan and other environmental statutes. The contractor will provide services to support response and site assessment activities related to the release or threat of release of oil, petroleum products, hazardous substances, weapons of mass destruction or pollutants and contaminants, that pose an actual or potential threat to human health or welfare, or to the environment. It is the Government's intent to award one (1) Full and Open Competition Performance Based, Fixed-Rate, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 4 year initial period of performance, one (1) - twenty-four month earned award term and one (1) - twelve month earned award term, for a possible total period of performance of 7 years. The estimated program ceiling of this contract is expected to be $60,000,000. Request for proposal (RFP) PR-HQ-05-10166 will be released on or about 03/01/05. The purpose of the FedBizOpps announcement is to notify potential offerors of EPA's upcoming requirement. The RFP, amendments and other information related to this procurement will be posted on EPA's Office of Acquisition Management website, at the following URL: http://www.epa.gov/oam/index.htm. All information related to this procurement will be available at this link through the date of award. The estimated award date is on or about August 5, 2005. Award will be made on a best value basis with technical being of greater importance than cost/price. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 562910 applies.
