Description

The Air Force Academy has a requirement for the purchase of USAFA Cadet Bathrobes. The bathrobes shall be manufactured in accordance with USAF Academy Specifications 211 34CU 1500-06, dated 3 Aug 2004. Basic fabric shall be velour 100% polyester 60? wide, 7.5 oz. Per linear yard plus/minus 1/2 oz. The fabric finish shall be napped on one side. (Fabric shall equal style #33294 Guilford Mills or better). Color shall be silver (Cable No. 80139 of the Standard Color reference of America (Tenth Edition) with a different color piping for each class year. The men?s robe shall be knee length and women?s robe shall be ankle length. Breast pocket for each robe shall contain an embroidered silver-color propeller and wings emblem. First Article may be required IAW FAR 52.209-3. Delivery FOB destination to USAF Academy CO 80840. Request for Quotation, FA7000-05-T-0017 will be available on or about 1 February 2005 and can only be downloaded from FedBizOpps. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. This acquisition will be accomplished utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 & 13. The requested delivery date is not later than 30 April 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Agency and shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 315999 and the Business Size Standard is 500. Woman owned and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit offers. Quotes are to be received at the Operational Contracting Office, 8110 Industrial Drive, Suite 200, USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315, 3:00 P.M. on or about 14 February 2005, Mountain Time.
