Description

The Contractor shall provide labor and materials to replace existing stairs, walkway, sidewalk, curb, fabricate and install new handrails and regrout two existing patio areas for Building 306, located at the USDA, ARS, Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, BARC Special Conditions and specifications. All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2005, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Bldg 306, Beltsville, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a Small Business set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number PDF53026, using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about Friday, February 25, 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due Friday, March 25, 2005. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation that is most advantageous to the Government. Anticipated award date is Wednesday, March 30, 2005.
