- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Service Agreement to provide a three year service plan for Fadal CNC Milling Centers, Serial Numbers 9105263 and 9907036 located at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing-Western Currency Facility 9000 Blue Mound Fort Worth TX. The vendors shall visit the Bureau of Engraving and Printing-Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth TX Annually and perform maintenance on the way Lube System, Electrical System, Pneumatic System, Spindle System, and ATC System, perform alignment checks, and perform miscellaneous checks. Additionally, during each visit the vendor shall perform a Ball-bar check and provide the Bureau of Engraving and printing printout verifying the two machines calibration. Bureau of Engraving and Printing is requesting PM PROGRAM SERVICE RATES PLUS TRAVEL. SEMIANNUAL PM (2 VISITS 6 MONTHS APART CHARGE PER VISIT PLUS TRAVEL). 3-YEAR PLAN (1 VISIT ANNUALLY CHARGE PER VISIT PLUS TRAVEL). 3-YEAR PLAN (2 VISIT ANNUALLY 6 MONTHS APART CHARGE PER VISIT PLUS TRAVEL). LABOR HOURLY CHARGE FOR BALLBAR, this Service Agreement is for three (3) year service plan. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 335999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees, the request for quotation (RFQ) RFQ-05-0309. The resulting purchase order shall be a not-to ?exceed price billable at established rates. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small businesses are encouraged to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number.
