Description

Furnish Readjustment Counseling Services to eligible Vietnam Era Veterans and Veterans who served in the Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and Persian Gulf Conflicts, Global War on Terrorism, Somalia, Korea, WWII referred by the VA. For the purpose of this contract, counseling will be provided by Psychiatrists, PhD Psychologists, Licensed Social Workers, Registered Nurses, or other Counselors, individually or in concert, to amerliorate social, psychological, or behavorial impairment which interfers with individual relationships, or overall ability to cope with problems encountered in daily life. Readjustment counseling to include individual, group, and family counseling and career counseling, job and career counseling, (other than job training, skills development, and placement services), and substance abuse counseling. Prospective offerors must be located in Cumberland, MD (Counties: Allegheny and Garrett); Petersburg, WV (Counties: Mineral, Hampshire, Grant, Hardy and Pendleton); and/or Harrisonburg, VA (VA Counties of Madison, Page, Green and Rockingham). This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS and size standard is 621330, $6.0 million. Period of performance is 3/1/05 - 2/28/06. This is for a base year with 2-1 option years.
