Description

This is 100 percent set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 518210 with a small business size standard of $21.0 million. Each year the USDA Forest Service, Forest Health Protection staff conducts aerial detection surveys on approximately 28 million acres. This project takes the polygon, point and attribute data recorded during these surveys and copies it from the flight maps to trace maps. This information is digitized from the trace map to produce an Arc Info pest coverage by map extent. User maps are produced for distribution. This project will be awarded as a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, performance based service commercial item contract using FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The performance period for this contract is one year from the date of award with one option year. Request for quote will be posted on or about February 14, 2005. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
