Description
Title: Surveying Services Description: The purpose of the modification is to provide the evaluation factors. The due date of the SF-330s remains the same. Point of Contact: Leslie Corpening at (801) 524-3613. EVALUATION FACTORS (1) Factor 1 - Technical Approach a. Subfactor 1 - Extreme Field Surveys 1. Subfactor 1a. Cross-Sectioning and Profiling - In addition to the general instructions identified above, the proposal must fully demonstrate their capabilities in performing cross-sectioning and/or profiling of rivers, channels, creeks, arroyos, and other water courses. The contractor's proposal must show staff, equipment, materials, training, experience, safety, and other procedures that are used when performing such tasks. 2. Subfactor 1b. Operation of Boat and Motor - The offeror must fully demonstrate that they have adequate equipment, operators, training, experience, and safety program when boat surveying task are performed. 3. Subfactor 1c. Brushing - The offeror must fully demonstrate that they have adequate equipment, operators, training, experience, and safety program when crew are performing brushing activities. 4. Subfactor 1d. Construction and Existing Facility Survey - In addition to the general instructions identified above, the proposal must fully demonstrate their capabilities in performing engineering construction surveying and existing facility surveys such as staking alignments, checking grade, working on elevated structures, surveying dam and reservoirs for embankment movement, and other structure type surveys. The offeror's proposal must show staff, equipment, materials, training, experience, safety, and other procedures that are used when performing such tasks. (2) Factor 2 -Efficiency and Quality Assurance 1. Subfactor 2a -Efficiency - In addition to the general instructions the offeror must fully demonstrate their capabilities to plan to manage projects including field activities and office activities to improve efficiency of given tasks. 2. Subfactor 2b - Quality Assurance - The offeror must fully demonstrate that they have adequate assurance measures outlining the methods and practices used to insure quality of field surveys and office work provided to the Government. (3) Factor 3 - Personnel Qualifications 1. Subfactor 3a - Personnel Qualifications. - The offeror must demonstrate that it has the technical and management resources to manage and perform a project of this scope.
