Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being conducted with commercial procedures as outlined at FAR 12. Solicitation Number H92240-05-T-1190 is issued as a request for quotation. (RFQ). The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible businesses may submit a quote that shall be considered. Closing date is February 4, 2005 1:30 Pacific Standard Time. Note #1 applies. SIC: 3499 NAICS: 332995. FOB: Destination. All potential offerors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR) DFARS 252.204-7 (Oct 2003). Description: Breaching Blanket Level III, Size: 36" x 72", used as an immediate bullet or fragmentation protection in high risk situations including executive security, perimeter defense, mine clearance usage and shielding applications. Must be flame and acid resistant on outer shell. Ballistice material. Qty: 48 each.
