Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W71B7J-43242-6008. This acquisition is issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC01- 26. A unit is defined as a calendar month. The base period of performance for this contract is 12 months inc lusive. In the four cases above where twenty-four units are specified, two copies of the feature are being supported. Additionally, four one-year renewal options are required. These option periods are the following calendar years (CY06-CY09). Options may be unilaterally exercised by the Government anytime prior to the current expiration date of the contract. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the aut hority of FAR 6.302. The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Agilent Technlogies, Englewood, CO 80155-4026. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all pr oposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory , 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD 20783-1197. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, appli es to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: NONE.
