Description
The work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Perform grading as required to install the Localizer antenna array, access road, and equipment shelter plot 2. Install underground cable and duct between the Localizer site and existing electrical utility facilities. Install disconnect switches for existing runway 30 Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI) and Runway End Indicator Lights (REIL) facilities. Coordinate with the utility company and local FAA to cut over electrical services to new switches and Localizer site. 3. Install reinforced concrete foundations for the equipment shelter, Localizer antenna array, and DME antenna. 4. Install Earth Electrode Systems (EES) at equipment shelter plot and antenna array. 5. Install conduit and cabling between the Localizer antenna array and the Localizer equipment shelter. 6. Install fold-over mast (CFM) for DME antenna, junction boxes, and conduit and cabling between the equipment shelter and DME antenna mast. 7. Install Localizer antennas, cable raceway, and distribution unit (GFM). 8. Install 10' x 16' fiberglass equipment shelter (GFM), and lightning protection and grounding systems for the shelter. 9. Install crushed rock surfacing at the facility plot and around antennas. 10. Install concrete access road between existing taxiway and Localizer equipment shelter plot. 11. Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 12. Install and maintain erosion control measures to protect ditches and inlets. 13. Accomplish other incidental duties to accommodate site peculiar conditions. 14. Implement and maintain a quality control plan to ensure contract compliance. Conduct all required tests and checks to verify contract compliance.
