- The USPS has completed final site and building plans for a new leased building of 4,798 net interior SF on a USPS controlled site of approximately 87,500 gross SF on the Northeast corner of 155th Street & Elm Street in Basehor, Kansas. Offerors will be required to acquire the site(s), construct the specified building and upon completion, agree to execute a Lease with Construction Rider with the Postal Service for the entire property for a 20-year base term and two 5-year renewal options. Any award made under this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror who provides the best overall offer to the Postal Service. This is NOT a sealed bid advertisement and proposals will NOT be publicly opened. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 1/13/05, for a non refundable fee of $125.00.
