- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston (SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit responses from commercial vendors on an anticipated IDIQ contract for a Wireless Communications System. The Navy seeks information about existing technologies for a Tactical Communications Package (TCP) with Domestic Feature Set, and equipped with 48 analog lines, 4 2B+D circuits, and 48 DSO channels. Minimum requirements to include: This system is NOT "stackable". Supplied with Version 6 RIP3 (JITC Certified) firmware with the following optional features enabled: Toll Restriction, MF Signaling, Custom support, MLPP, and Print Site Records (PSR). - 1 MSU mounted in one (1) shock resistant, high impact cases (8U). - System equipped with AC power supply (110 VAC, 60 HZ); MSU Controller board with Ethernet and two RS232 links; ETSI each with Tone Plant, Conference, and DTMF Rec/Send (4CCTS); Ringing Generator; users manual on CD-ROM; cable drawer; and REDCOM Cable Management System for Tactical Systems. - 6 Line boards (8 ccts per board). - 1 Basic Rate "S" ISDN board (four 2B+D ccts per board). - 2 DS1 board sets (24 DSO channels per board set). - 1 Universal Clock Synchronizer board. - 1 MF Sender / Receiver board (2 cots per board). - 1 Message Transceiver Interface for PRI. - 1 PCMCIA card (for database back up). - 1 1st year ISDN maintenance service agreement. - A/R Black handles, latches and hasps. The Government is anticipating awarding an IDIQ contract however, there is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement at this time. The requested information is for planning purposes. There is no intent to reimburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this RFI. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston requests a Statement of Capabilities (SOC), warranty plan, and unit costing data from those submitting information.
