Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Acquisition Center, Edgewood Division intends to negotiate with Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio for a modification to existing contract DAAD13-03-C-0018 pursuant to the authorit y of FAR 6.302-1, for the manufacture and assembly of an additional quantity of 25,000 (maximum) JBPDS Assay Carrier Box Assemblies. It is anticipated that the period of performance for this modification action will be 24 months. The government does not c urrently own the technical data package required to solicit this requirement for competition. As the current contractor, Battelle possesses the unique mixture of skills, knowledges, resources and facilities required to perform the work in the timeframe re quired. See Note 22. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15)All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
