Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE. This requirement is for custodial/janitorial services for Fort Richardson, Alaska. Contract period is a one year base period (1 June 2005 through 31 May 2006) with two (2) one year option periods. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, tools and supplies for performance of the required services. Custodial/janitorial services shall include basic cleaning of facilities, such as, restroom service and trash removal, periodic cleaning, such as, floor stripping and re-waxing, carpet shampooing, high dusting and window cleaning and emergency and miscellaneous cleaning on an as ordered basis. Offerors are required to make a site visit before submission of a proposal. This acquisition is a competitive action under 100% Small Business Set-aside program. Applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561720, Janitorial Services, standard size $14 million. This acquisi tion will be processed in accordance with the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13 for the acquisition of commercial items. Solicitations will be issued electronically at http://www.usarak.army.mil/rco-ak/ and http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ Interested sources must also access the above websites for amendments. Estimated date for the posting of this solicitation is on or after 28 Jan 05. Estimated closing date for this solicitation is 14 March 05.
