- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotation RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The Regional Contracting Department, Marine Corps Base Hawaii intends on awarding a Firm-Fixed contract for: 0001 Services for window screen restoration, removal, rescreening, restoration and reinstallation of 1,904 each of the window screens. Sizes as follows: 316 each of size 27-7/16 inch X 59-5/16 inch, 316 each of size 27-7/16 inch X 27-1/2 inch, 424 each of 13-11/16 inch, 424 each of size 26-1/8 inch X 27-13/16 inch, 424 each of size 26-3/16 inch X 59-1/4 inch. Material: Standard Bronzed Aluminum box frames with spreader bar in center of frame, with gray standard fiberglass screen, brown plastic screen clips with stainless steel screws. Remove and dispose of all debris that is in excess for this project. Coordinator and POC is Mr. Frank Ethridge @ 808-257-2171 X283 for delivery, removal of debri, removal of old screens, and installation. Services to provide all labor, materials and equipment for Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, HI. Hawaii State Tax @ 4.166% is applicable. F.o.b. destination to Building 5070 in MCBH Kaneohe Bay, HI 96863. Delivery of the items is on or about 18 February 2005. The NAICS and the small business standard for this procurement is 332321 and 500 respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database and Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at http://www.gsa.gov/forms/pdf_file and submit a quotation. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Evalua! tion and award will be made to the responsible quoter submitting the low cost, technically acceptable quotation. The quoter shall provide the information required in FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act--Supplies", the quoter shall state and list the country of origin, DFAR 252.212-7000--Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), and DFAR 252.225-7035--Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (MAR 1998)-Alternate I (MAR 1998).
