Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to procure on a sole source, firm fixed price basis the following equipment from Harris Corporation of Rochester, NY: VHF XCVR 64K ENGR CARC G Part # RF-5800V-MP107, eight units; Single 50W MANPAK BASE, RF-5800V-v201 four units; Cable Assembly, RF-5800V-MP-PP #10512-0775-A006 four units; ASSEMBLY, SHOCK TRAY #12030-1200-01 four units; DC POWER CABLE ASSEMBLY #10570-0720-01 four units; VHF VEHICULAR ANTENNA #RF-387-AT001 eight units; COAXIAL CABLE ASSEMBLY 25 FEET #10369-7212-025 eight units; POWER SUPPLY #RF-5051PS-125C four units; CABLE ASSEMBLY7 125W/150W PA DC PWR #10181-9833-004 four units; and SHOCK MOUNT V/ETHERNET RF-5800V four units. The units will be used on the 7 meter unmanned surface vehicle (USV) SPARTAN program and must be interchangeable (physically, electrical interface, software perspective, and performance) with units currently in use in the SPARTAN Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) program. Consequently, these hardware requirements will be met by way of a sole source procurement to Harris Corp. of Rochester, NY. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
