This is not a solicitation announcement and this notice does not constitute any commitment by the Government. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MARKET RESEARCH AND SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED (8A), HUBZONE AND SERVICE DISABLE D VETERAN OWNED FIRMS. ONLY THESE TYPE SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS SHALL RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile Distric t, anticipates a future procurement related to Architect-Engineer (AE) Services to Support the Mobile District and South Atlantic Divisions Cost Engineering Workload. Selected firm will perform Civil, Military, U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Support for Others (SFO) and Hazardous Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) cost engineering services. The majority of the work will be located in the southeastern United States, Central and South America and may include other locations such as Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands, assigned to the Mobile District and South Atlantic Division. This future procurement could include work at military installations in the Southeastern United States and South and Central America, therefore, all personnel performing the w ork on-site should be U.S. citizens. Sources are being sought for firms with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 541330, Engineering Services. Source firms must have full-time cost engineering specialists for each required des ign discipline, such as architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical. Source firms specialists must be certified by a professional cost engineering organization such as AACE, ICEC, PCEA, etc. The firms must also demonstrate experience in using MCACES and PACES estimating software. The Government contemplates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with provisions for firm fixed price, task orders resulting from a future solicitation. Source firms must have the capacity to accomplish at least 3 each $25,000.00 individual task orders simultaneously. Interested firms should submit a current SF254 or Part II of SF330 and a separate document describing relevant experience in the following format: name(s) of cl ient(s); location of job site; client point of contact and telephone number; type of project, estimated value of project, and the date services were performed. This documentation should be limited to descriptions of past and current contracts of the kinds of work and facility types identified above and should be limited to eight (8) pages. It is not necessary to submit additional company information, resumes, sales material or brochures.
