Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 27, effective 01 January 2005. ** NOTICE ? THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE ONLY FOR SMALL BUSINESS ** The evaluation factors for award will be price, technical capability and past performance. Award will be made to the responsible firm whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to be the best value for the Government, price and other factors considered. A firm?s quote may not be considered when the quoted price is unreasonably high or unrealistically low. Please submit your quote in an original and an electronic copy. Submit five (5) original hard copies of your quote to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Acquisition Operations Services (049A3F), 1800 G Street, N.W., Suite 438C, Washington, DC 20006 by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 11 January 2005. Your price quote must be on firm-fixed-price basis. Questions pertaining to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) must be submitted in writing, and can be faxed to 202-275-5606 or emailed to Frank.Bajowski@mail.va.gov, prior to close of business, Monday, 10 January 2005.
