Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina has a need for services to provide collection, removal, transportation and disposal of regulated non hazardous waste (General Solid Waste). for a period of twelve months with four one-year renewable option years. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562111. Size standard is $10.5 Million. The cascading acquisition strategy is being utilized for this procurement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.5 any award resulting from this solicitation will be made on a competitive basis to eligible small business concerns provided that a minimum of two (2) competitive offers are received from eligible small business concerns. If a minimum of two (2) offers are not received from eligible small business concerns for the specified services, award will be made on the basis of full and open competition from among all responsible businesses, small or large, submitting offers.
