Description
NAICS Code: 541620 NAICS Code: 541620 The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD) under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, is seeking student services under the Fiscal Year 2003 Consolidated Appropriations Resolution which authorized ORD to acquire personal services through temporary or intermittent student services. Only recent graduates (graduated within one year) who have a masters degree from an accredited college/university, in library science information management or related field and have a bachelors degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or other scientific or engineering degree. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age. The student shall be subject to a background check, FBI fingerprint check, and a suitability determination by the EPA. The student shall sign and date the Student Acknowledgment of Special Terms before work under the contract commences. The student contractor shall register with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Dun& Bradstreet (DUNS). Registration for CCR may be done at http://www.ccr.gov; registration for DUNS may be done at http://www.dnb.com.eupdte. The resultant contract will required to support and assist the management of information related to grants concerning air pollution. The anticipated contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The hourly rate is commensurate with the level of education and experience; the rate for a recent MA/MS graduate is $21.55 per hour. The student contractor shall be responsible for paying all Federal, State and Local taxes, Social Security taxes, Medicare, and all other applicable taxes. The anticipated period of performance will be one year from the date of the order with a possible extension of another 12 months.
