Description

This is a modification to the original announcement posted on 9/22/04. A second preprosal conference and site visit will be conducted on the date and time shown below. All other conditions remain as stated in the original announcement. The NETCOM/ 9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified b y the government of Puerto Rico, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Buchanan, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISD N PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadv antaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees  NAICS 517110. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 20 January 2005 in Bldg 390, Crane Loop Road, Fort Buchanan, PR. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conf erence. The conference will be from 09:00  11:00 AM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 11:00  12:00 PM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 14 January 2005.
