Description

VA Medical Center, Network Logistics Office (509/10N7/NLO), 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285 will be contracting for the VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404-5088 the following: Services shall include wheelchair, scooter, lifts, hitch, installation, assembly, disassembly, issuing, delivery, pick up, and repair of wheelchairs, scooters and their lifting devices and/or mounting system at the patient?s residence or the contractors store location. Contract period shall be from February 1, 2005, or date of award through December 31, 2005 with two(2) one (1) year options to renewal. If all option years are exercised the contract shall expire December 31, 2008. Contractor shall commence action and/or work within two(2) day of the initial contact from the COTR or designee. The contractor shall contact the beneficiary or care provider to establish delivery, install, return or repair time. NAICS Code 532291 Size Standard 6.0 Million with the estimated project value being $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. Requests for offeror will only be accepted from responsible businesses currently engaged in this type of commerce.
