Description

The US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) has a requirement for the collection, removal, and disposal of regulated medical waste. This acquisition is for all Medical Treatment Facilities throughout the MEDCOM, excluding Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska. The c ontractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, management, transportation, equipment, materials, certification, and training. The contractor shall collect, transport, and dispose of regulated medical waste (RMW) in accordance with all feder al, state, and local laws and regulations. The contract period will be from Oct 1, 2004 through Sep 30, 2005 with four one-year options through Sep 30, 2009. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 562211. This acquisition will be soli cited as full and open competition. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about September 8, 2004.
