Description

The Capital District Contracting Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to acquire on an unrestricted basis household goods services for the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO) Washington, DC at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The requirement co nsists of pickups,packing, crating and moving and storage services for household goods for the following Virginia and West Virginia Counties and Cities: Clarke Co VA, Culpepper Co VA, Fauquier Co VA, Frederick Co VA, Harrisonburg VA, Loudoun Co VA, Madison Co VA, Page Co VA, Rockingham Co VA, Shenandoah Co VA, Warren Co VA, Winchester VA, Grant Co WV, Hampshire Co WV, Hardy Co WV, Mineral Co WV, Pendleton Co WV, Pocahontas Co WV, Randolph Co WV and Tucker Co WV. The solicitation number for this requirement is W91QV1-05-R-0012 which was previously advertised under W91QV1-05-T-0009. The period of performance is 1 April 2005 through 31 December 2005, plus four one-year option periods. The acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classificati on System (NAICS) 484210. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation resulting from this accouncement will be available by email on or about 15 January 2005 to interested parties.
