Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (ATDD), Oak Ridge, Tennessee, has a requirement for thirty five (35) Type-2, 4 Foot, Stainless Steel Alter Shields (Windshields) with four slat assemblies, to be produce in accordance with drawing 31282, and specifications. A first article test must be provided for inspection and acceptance prior to the manufacture of any additional alter shields. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Technical questions regarding the solicitation should be consolidated and emailed to Sybil.S.Custer@noaa.gov. All responsible responsive small business sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. The NAICS code for this action is 332999. This requirement is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 13. Prior to award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR), please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. A Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at www.dnb.com, or by phone at (800) 333-0505. A copy of the Request for Quotation (RFQ), and related documentation, will be issued on or about January 15, 2005, with the approx. closing date being 15 days after issuance of the RFP. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. Telephone requests will not be honored.
